Pregnancy and childbirth are often a woman’s first in-depth experience with the health care system. Yet opportunities for receiving consistent and appropriate prenatal education are lacking. In addition, few mechanisms exist for pregnant women to provide feedback about the quality of maternity care that they’ve received.

PBGH has developed tools to help employers effectively support employees with maternity-related health information. We also are seeking opportunities to implement surveys and other tools that can measure and report women’s experience with their maternity care services and providers.
