Patricia Fu

As Director of Purchaser Analytics & Advisory Delivery, Patricia leads the analytic work supporting purchaser advisory engagements, helping employers use health care data to better understand cost drivers, evaluate vendor performance, and inform purchasing and vendor decisions.

Patricia brings more than 20 years of experience in health care analytics, research, and program evaluation. Drawing on her background in public health and epidemiology, she brings an evidence-based approach to understanding health care challenges and identifying opportunities for improvement. Her career has spanned health services research, government and nonprofit health care, health plans, provider organizations, and employer health benefits. Her earlier work focused on research and quality improvement initiatives designed to improve health care quality and outcomes for veterans and Medicare beneficiaries. More recently, she has worked with self-insured employers to gain greater transparency into their health care data, understand the drivers of rising costs, and develop sustainable strategies for providing high-quality, affordable health care.

Patricia holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed research on health care costs, health outcomes, health care delivery, and program evaluation.
