Lindsay Petersen

As Senior Manager, Care Transformation, Lindsay Petersen manages multi-stakeholder efforts to strengthen primary care in California through value-based payment, investment, transparency and practice transformation.

Prior to PBGH, Lindsay worked at San Francisco Health Plan (SFHP) as a Senior Program Manager on care management programs, pandemic response and other population health improvement efforts for Medi-Cal members. Before that, she worked at Covered California with eleven health plans and stakeholders on health system reform, with a focus on hospital safety, value-based payment, prescription drug benefits and patient support tools. Lindsay has also worked for MITRE Corporation on projects that support the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other federal agencies.

Lindsay has B.A.s in Psychology and Political Science from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and an M.S in Biohazardous Threat Agents and Emerging Infectious Diseases from Georgetown University. She enjoys running, visiting the mountains and exploring the Bay Area.
