Aurora Chen

As the Vice President of Advisory Services, Aurora Chen is responsible for expanding and scaling PBGH’s advisory services, solutions, and products for members and non-member employers responsible for health benefits.

Aurora is an action-oriented leader with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare and employee benefits industry, including holding key positions at some of the largest consulting and brokerage firms such as Mercer, Towers Perrin/Towers Watson and Lockton. She also co-founded an HR-tech and consulting start-up, oversees the overall operations and serves as the chief consultant. She understands the employer’s health & welfare consulting lifecycle, carrier and point-solutions, and consulting & brokerage landscape. Combining actuarial expertise with a strong focus on client services, relationship development and team leadership, she excels at delivering innovative, out-of-the-box strategies and solutions that drive measurable results for clients. Aurora has worked with mid-size, large and jumbo institutions across both public and private sectors and is exceptional at managing sophisticated client portfolios, complex projects and cross-function teams.

Known for her integrity and credibility, she embraces a growth mindset and continues evolving by learning and turning feedback and challenges into opportunities to improve outcomes and deepen trust with clients and internal teams. Whether supporting client initiatives or mentoring team members, she aims to create an environment where accountability, innovation and personal growth are the norm.

Aurora received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Master’s in Actuarial Science from Georgia State University.
