Lucy McDermott

Lucy McDermott is the Associate Director, Primary Care Payment Reform and Innovation at PBGH. In her role, Lucy oversees PBGH’s purchaser-led Advanced Primary Care work.

Lucy previously served as PBGH’s Member Account and Product Senior Manager, supporting the member value team. Prior to joining PBGH, Lucy was a Senior Program Manager at Blue Shield of California overseeing the evaluation and scaling of innovative health care solutions. Before Blue Shield, Lucy worked at the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement as a Project Manager focused on member engagement and measuring and reporting total cost of care across the country.

Lucy holds a degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Vermont. In her free time, she enjoys sailing, spending time at her family’s lake house and exploring the Bay Area.
