Yolanda Reed

Yolanda is the founder and owner of Yokie! LLC, a consulting, coaching and advisory firm, which she launched in 2021. Prior to starting her own business, she was the former Human Resources, Executive Director for Kelley Construction Company, where she served as a senior executive reporting to the Company President. Yolanda was responsible for the full facet of Human Resources (including, but not limited to: Strategic Planning, Employee Relations, Executive Coaching, Culture-Building, Wellness, Benefits, Talent Management and Compensation) for multiple locations in Kentucky, Indiana & Texas. Yolanda was with Kelley Construction Company for 6 + year, and prior to, was with Rudd Equipment Company for over 12 years. Yolanda has 27 years of Human Resources experience, 18 years at the executive leadership level.

Yolanda was named as one of the Business First 20 People to Know in Human Resources in 2014 and 2016. Her passion for people and the employees at Rudd Equipment Company also landed her on the front cover of the New York Times in 2009. Yolanda is a longtime member of SHRM where she served on the board of directors for the local chapter for several years and is a former board member of Kentuckiana Health Collaborative and Poplar Level Business Association. She has also been actively involved with the American Heart Association, Kentuckiana Health Collaborative and Worksite Wellness Council where she served as the Worksite Wellness Conference Chair.

Yolanda attended the University of Louisville and Ottawa University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. Yolanda is also a certified life coach, focusing on executive coaching, growth coaching and life coaching.
