As Senior Advisor for the Consumer-Purchaser Alliance, Jennifer Eames Huff represents the consumer and purchaser perspective in the development of health care performance measurement and its use in public reporting and value-based payment. Jennifer also leads efforts in influencing both national and California policy on a wide range of performance measurement-related issues on behalf of PBGH.
Prior to joining PBGH in 2006, Jennifer was a Health Economist at Genentech, where she contributed to the development and commercialization of products by overseeing the use of patient reported outcomes and providing economic assessments. Before that, she was Program Officer at the California HealthCare Foundation and managed a portfolio of projects related to patient safety, performance measurement, and health disparities. As Director of Client Services at the Picker Institute, Jennifer helped clients measure patient experience with care, and use the information for improvement, public reporting, and financial incentives. She also held quality management positions at health systems in New England.
Jennifer holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Wellesley College.
