SENIOR MANAGER

Alana Ketchel is an experienced health services researcher and policy analyst with a focus in health information technology and health care quality policy. She most recently served as Senior Policy Analyst for Cal eConnect, supporting lab data exchange strategy and health information exchange policy development. Prior to joining Cal eConnect she supported the State of California’s eHealth efforts, working with the deputy secretary for health IT to develop California’s strategic and operational plans for health information exchange. Ms. Ketchel was a research fellow with the Sutter Health Institute for Research and Education, performing evaluations of several quality improvement initiatives. At the National Opinion Research Center in Washington, D.C., she was primary researcher on a set of projects for the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission. Ms. Ketchel received a MPP/MPH from the University of California, Berkeley and BA from Stanford University.
